I strongly believe good painting is poetry. Especially abstract painting- the terrain I usually live in.

Our soul speaks to us in an abstract language. To understand what our soul is saying we need to step into our energy fields of creation.

Two of the best practices I have found to mine this rich terrain is through working with our energy centers (chakras) and meeting our guides in the mysterious realm of Collage. No technique required here - just a willingness to open and receive. We will cultivate our inner voice through prompts of guided visualization, idea generating exercises through collage and painting.

Through my decades of painting and mentoring, it has become known that when I incorporate my spiritual and metaphysical studies, my work and the work of others shine. You don’t have to be religious, you don’t even need a spiritual practice. This is more about befriending a trust with the work you make and a better understanding of where it comes from.

The goal of this workshop is to explore the intimate relationship with our soul so our best-individualized work can step forward. 

Painting and collage when combined, have the capability to propel us into a vibrational field of our art to bring it to a whole new level.
