Introduction to Chakra Meditations & Creative Practice

Explore your energy centers and inner guides through meditation, painting, and collage.

Soul Narration is the practice of allowing your soul to merge with your Self, so your art, or any creative work, becomes a story told from your deepest essence.

This is more than a technique. It is a journey of deepening intimacy with your creative process. Through Soul Narration, you begin to recognize the symbolic, spiritual, and personal narratives within your work, allowing both you and your viewers to see beyond surface imagery.

In this method, your artwork becomes a bridge between inner life and outer expression, intuition and visible form, and the immaterial essence that animates us and the material tools of painting and collage.

The aim is self-empowerment. By exploring your personal story through art, you reclaim your voice and vision, moving beyond critique or imitation, and begin to create work that truly reflects YOU.

Throughout the course, you will be guided through chakra inspired, body based meditations that ground awareness in the body while engaging symbolic or intuitive imagery. Many participants experience these images as animal guides, inner figures, or higher aspects of self. These figures offer messages, support, and creative orientation from the inside out.

Enter a quiet, imaginal studio where essence meets expression. We ground, soften the breath, and invite a subtle guide to stand beside us. Your art will speak, and your soul will answer. This opening meditation creates a felt sense of safety that you will return to throughout the course, gently bridging the gap between your inner world and outer action.

Each meditation is followed by option based studio demonstrations that support artists who work abstractly, representationally, or fluidly between the two. Painting and collage become tools for listening, responding, and giving form to what has been felt.

No belief system is required. The imagery in this course can be understood on multiple levels, including psychologically, symbolically, intuitively, and spiritually. What matters most is the act of embodied attention and learning to trust imagination as a source of creative support.

At the end of each chakra meditation, you’ll complete the Soul Narration Prompt, translating sensation, symbol, and insight into visual language.
(You may wish to print the prompt and keep it handy in your studio.)
