The Antidote to Aries Season: the Long Vision

You may be experiencing a restless energy and a desire to undertake a multitude of projects, but we might benefit more from discerning which ones are truly deserving of our time and energy.

In Progress

I have never been one to practice patience. I am an Aries, the first sign of the zodiac. While we can be great at starting projects, we are not always so good with follow-through. While Aries are often skilled at initiating projects, we can struggle with following through. Of course, the extent to which this tendency manifests may vary depending on the influence of other planets in your natal chart.

For me, it’s intensified by the fact that I have a triple whammy - three planets in Aries. But fortunately, I have turned to astrology as a way to understand this configuration and learn to balance it. Basically, I have worked hard my entire adult life to stabalize my fiery nature and channel it toward self-transformation.

Currently, we have a cluster of planets traveling through Aries, ushering in a certain flavor of restlessness. I can sense that many of you are feeling that fire-under-your-butt energy, itching to start new projects and take action immediately. Instead of feeling overwhelmed and running your brain in circles, take a deep breath, and let the bird's eye view guide you toward the projects that align with your true purpose.

I for one have paintings I want to finish (as in yesterday!) places I want to visit, a studio I want to build, planting and weeding that needs my spring attention -  and as if I just said all that all out loud without taking a breath of air, I also desire to sleep more and spend more time in nature.

So, take a big breath in, and instead of running our brains in circles - which I happen to be very skilled at, this is our reminder:  exercise the long vision.

Ask yourself, where does the wind want to take me today? What is the one thing I can focus on with my absolute full intention? Breathe all the energy in, then focus on one thing at a time.

Let the long vision guide you to success in your creative endeavors.

Cheers, to practice!
