Light- so illusive - yet -the essence of our existence.
Bandwidth to the world- supplied by the energy of our sun.
Color-
a seven ray spectrum everywhere we look.
Enhance our senses from the outside in. 
Vibratory Frequency-

Einstein showed us that light existed as both wave and particle, existing simultaneously.
A duality of nature, oscillating movement - quantum mechanics.
But, I don't pretend to completely understand how to explain the physical phenomena of light like a scientist of physics.

I am more like a Rudolph Steiner when it comes to study and experimentation.
Steiner, Austrian philosopher, artist, architect. Founder of the Waldorf school movement. Steiner dedicated most of his adult life in the study and pursuit of establishing color and art as a spiritual science.
He believed color was the soul.

Red vibrates at 430 trillion hertz.
Violet at 750 trillion hertz.
Imagine these waves having effects on our whole being of self.
Then imagine there are waves at lower frequencies and higher frequencies that we can not even see- yet.
Steiner- in the early part of the twentieth century- developed a way of painting  called ' Lasure'

An atmospheric blushing of thin layers of analogous color ( the result being calming or dynamic movement depending on the color ) onto walls that changes tones throughout the day. Washes to bring luminosity to paintings that allows light to pass through and reflect back a pure color experience. Steiner believed this had a healing effect- as if were in space, not just on the walls. A pure experience, as though one could " spiritually pass through the walls"

Presently- I have been teaching a virtual online color class every Wednesday. It’s an online experiment - an off shoot from my live in person open studio. I have taught color theory in University settings and in my studio for over twenty years, but this one has been surprisingly different. It has completely enveloped me - emotionally- spiritually -physically.

It’s as if each week I am personally embodying each color. I did not plan this, it just happened.

For instance:

Week one: Red, begin: a meditation to drop us on in to the frequency. For the rest of the day a certain excitement and a slight agitation took hold. By the time we got to week three Yellow- I felt a personal power moving towards discernment. Tomorrow is green, the heart. Compassion for self and our mother earth.
