Connection- We Are Not Separate

In The Studio Today- We Are All Connected

Greetings All,
It appears things are changing hour by hour- rapid speed
and safety is on everybody's consciousness.
Here is what I have noticed:
I am in hyper aware mode. Love and Fear - a ping pong- hyper speed.
Yesterday, I found ease and relief by sticking my feet in the earth while the sun was going down. I drummed- a heartbeat. My breath eased into pace.
The amount of love pouring in took me a bit off guard, I did not expect it.

Rewind to the grocery store earlier that day. The amount of panic left me hyperventilating for a good long while.
I did not expect that either.

The good news: I am aware of both the dark and light happening simultaneously like never before.
I can or have the power to choose to just notice, I do better when I do not judge, because now I am getting better at this swing.

Each time I think the panic will not move, I do something like walk the dog, or put on meditative sleep music in the middle of the day.

I’m thinking about how we harness the middle ground.

We are not separate.
As we look at social distancing, the opposite of the non-contact brings us opportunity to imagine our way into
how we are still connected. The space between. We are re-grouping, re-structuring our connection in a whole new way.
I feel this, deeply.

“It seems the purpose of suffering is to exhaust us of our differences, and the purpose of love is to awaken us to how we’re at heart the same. Then, we discover that the temple is the world. Still, every life, every generation, every age takes its turn at pushing each other away, only to be loved and worn back to the one tribe we belong to. This seems even more relevant in our tense, modern world. For there is no they. We are they. We are each other. And there’s a Unity that always waits below our righteousness and insistence that we know the way. — Mark Nepo
